05. INSTALLATION & MECHANIC’S PROTOCOL

Preparation: Remove the OEM shift peg. Clean the internal threads of the shift lever arm thoroughly with brake cleaner to remove old thread-locker.
Thread Security: Mandatory: Apply a drop of Medium-Strength (Blue) Loctite to the peg threads prior to installation.
Torque: Thread the peg in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten firmly (typically 12-15 ft-lbs). Do not over-torque.
Alignment: Ensure the etched logos are positioned aesthetically before the Loctite cures.
