04. THERMAL DYNAMICS (Heat Management)

Unlike standard stamped rotors, the Velox 14” Series uses a proprietary ventilation pattern. This geometry is designed to:

1. Scrub the Pad: Keep the brake pad surface clean of gas and debris.

2. Dissipate Heat: Reduce the risk of “brake fade” when descending mountain passes or during aggressive Club-Style riding.

3. Parallelism: Both sides are ground simultaneously to ensure perfect parallelism, ensuring the caliper pistons apply equal pressure on both sides.

05. INSTALLATION & MECHANIC’S PROTOCOL

Professional installation is mandatory for warranty validation.

• Torque Specs: 25 Nm (approx. 18.5 ft-lb).

• Thread Locker: Use Loctite® 243 (Blue) Medium Strength.

• Hardware Requirement: New Grade 8 Torx bolts are highly recommended.

• Bed-in Procedure: Perform 10-15 stops from 30mph to 5mph with moderate pressure to transfer a thin layer of pad material to the rotor surface.

[Caution]: Failure to use a torque wrench may lead to uneven rotor expansion and premature warping.
